Ingredients:

For Dough:
Refined flour 1/2 kg
Salt to taste
Clarified butter 3 tbsp
For Filling:
Beef mince 1/2 kg
Onion (chopped) 1
Ginger/garlic paste 1 tbsp
Black pepper (crushed) 1 tsp
Hot spices powder 1 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tbsp
Egg 1
Salt to taste
Oil for frying + 3 tbsp
Lettuce leaves, tomatoes for decoration:

Method:

Knead dough ingredients with lukewarm water; set aside.
Heat 3 tbsp oil in a pot; fry mince and ginger/garlic.
Add onion, black pepper, red chilies, hot spices and salt; fry till dry; remove from flame.
Make balls from dough; roll out into small discs.
Shape discs into cones; place little mince in the centre of each; seal edges by brushing egg on them.
Heat oil in a wok; fry samosay till golden; remove.
Decorate a dish with lettuce and tomatoes; place samosay on it; serve.
